Do the Walk!

Sandra had started to walk entirely by her own! It's a joyful moment when finally we saw her stepping out on her own, letting off our hands and walk about 10 steps away all by herself. That's just the beginning...

Now that she doesn't need anymore of our help to walk around, she basically "set off" instantly besides us suddenly towards hazardous places in the house. Thus we had to keep an eye on her almost every minute when she's on the floor.

Whenever she’s out of her play pan, she head straight to the toys bag which is hanging just outside, pull open it and dip her hands and head into it searching for all her favorite toys. She then gets them out one by one and leaving them on the floor, smiling at us with that cunning face. See the picture below for that “cunning” smile…

She likes to wonder around the house with energy that seems endless. She had few hard falls but quickly recovered after some complaints. Yes I literally mean complaints! No crying at all!

Then me and Caroline bring her to the newly opened Giant at Tampines one weekend and saw a “push” toy which allows babies who just started to walk to hold on to a handle of a toy car and push along. Like any typical parents, looking at an offer price of only S$10plus we took it almost immediately. It end up the toy is not as wonderful it seems from the picture on the box. It was a little too small and light that Sandra carried it up and walks around instead of pushing it. Moral of the story? Don't be stingy when come to toys for your kids :P
