Donald’s arrival did worry us a little, we have heard a lot about the younger one would get really jealous etc… The myth is true, for a few days. Sandra adjusted quite well. Since last week, she had no more issue of waking in middle of the night when Donald cries. She also started to kiss him whenever she sees him crying for milk, which is really funny, and scary at the same time because we afraid she might hurt him accidentally.

But Sandra started the “I am a Good Big Sister” behavior pretty much from now, even though she’s just slightly over 15 months old, she behaved as if she’s 15 yrs old big Sister. Whenever Donald cries, she would show the sad face and immediately ran to him. Furthermore, she knows how to address him “Di Di” now. The best thing is she always “Sayang” his head and cuddle him, amazingly and surprisingly though..., we would like her to behave as such forever.

Maybe it’s our second baby, it seems we are more experience in handling him. With Mum’s help for the second time, this round the “routines” are clearly and more organized, as the last time we had Sandra was just a close year plus ago. But it’s still tough for Caroline, waking up for breastfeeding’s almost every 2 or 3 hours, while Daddy and Sandra sleep like pigs after waking and looking around making sure everything is ok.
Still, we're both drained after all the sleepless nights, yet the baby brings joy and healings to us whenever you look at them. Recently I met a couple of really annoying and dishonor people for work purposes, making life more tiring. Coming home with kisses from Sandra and the wonderful looks of Donald makes me sees the differences between the Devils and the Angels. I think only parents realized just how pure, truthful and sincere children really are, even though they are often the most fussy and noisy ones.
Both of us were also enlightened by the fact that our priority now are always focus towards our kids, with no keeping of anything but just giving. I hope when Sandra grows and read this blog; you will remember and know the love of Daddy and Mummy for you and Donald – unconditionally.
