It's the time of the year again, It's Christmas!

A little Christmas Party was held at our office with collegues and cousin. Loads of presents for everyone and the way the kids snatches and open their presents are like Afghanistan war refugees pushing for foods.... =P

New Chair!

Sandra needs a new chair for her meals as she's bigger (age and size) now.

After some hunting, we found this ALL-IN-ONE chair, awesome!

Wedding Dinner KL!

It's Jeff's wedding, and Sandra's the flower girl. Her dress was specially made all the way from Australia by Grand-Aunt! It was gorgeous, she love it too and she did an awesome job (phew)! As a reward, she gets to know this handsome boy too :P...

New Sports Wear

We got Sandra a set of black sporty wears, she looks really good at it!

Nice haircut!

We happened to pass by this nice Salon for little kids at Suntec and decided to let Sandra have a more decent haircut (we cut for her in the past, which looks incredibly "nice" :P )

Firstly, I must say the place is fantastic, even Donald get to play at the corner full of toys while waiting.
Second, the cut was so professional and the hairdresser can be a part-time childcare teacher as Sandra was paying so much attention to him that she forgotten about the haircut.
Third, it's not that expensive, consider the quality, location and the free sweets balloons and play corner for your kids.
Anyhow... kids nowadays are so so lucky and spoil...

First Game

Sandra had all along been trying to use my computer, so we decided to install a little game we had for her. Guess what? She simply click it away within a few minutes of learning how to use the mouse!

Donald's Baptism on Mother's Day!

It's Donald's turn! Baptism that is... so entire family are now Catholics!! Wonderful! Great!! Err... well... I guess it's also a message from the man also telling us... Hey dude it's about time the whole family visit the Church more often! (maybe confession would be good it's been months since we went for Mass :P )

Maybe God really take care of him giving him special dates... born on 08 August and now Baptized on Mothers' Day! It does have some kind of reminder huh?

For those who don't know, The Greek-English Lexicon of Liddell and Scott gives the primary meaning of the word βαπτίζω (transliterated as "baptizô"), from which the English word baptism is derived, as dip, plunge...

Enough of the "cheem" words... haha...

Although does not mean exclusively, dip, plunge, immerse. But almost everyone goes thru the Baptism by some form immersions whereby part of the candidate's body was submerged in the baptismal water which was poured over the remainder... I wonder how it feels like for Donald as he seems so relax during the process? At least I was really cold last time, maybe because my whole body was in the pool. Maybe he thought it was bathing time? Arr... so refreshing! :D


We are the first family (yeah!... oops kiasu...) to go. Good and bad. Good... being first! (yeah!... oops kiasu... again...) Bad? It's kinda rush getting to take pictures as Father was really quick and we did not manage to really get good angles. Can't blame him, he's been doing so often so much!

Sandra's God parent is Jackie, so who's next? Angie! Lucky Donald! How I wish my God Parent is as young and lovely during my Baptism some years back... Oh oh... no offense if you're reading this ha ha ha...


So Donald's Baptism was smooth and fantastic... and for the little Sandra, she had a fantastic time too during lunch gathering... hehe...

Donald's 1st CNY!

Donald got a new nickname, laughing Buddha. Obviously, he now laughs all the time, every day! Yes he did cry just like any baby, but he loves to smile and laugh. Simple gestures even just a quick glance at him makes him goes laughing… really enjoyable… that is as long as he discontinue laughing during bed times…

As with any babies I guess, they start to recognize their parents and will smile and love our company. Whenever we walk away from him he almost cries immediately, as long as we go near he would stop almost instantly! But we recently found him smiling and laughing whenever ladies play with him at shopping malls, but he simply stares at the guys…

He’s getting well with Sandra, who loves to amuse him daily with her funny actions. It’s a good thing, as it gives some moment of free time for both me and Caroline. Not when Sandra accidentally step on his leg or fell on him, he screams and Sandra would ran far away with her hands tapping on her chest and goes: “scared… scared…”.

Now he sits on walker, still moving backwards but he’s starting to stand up. With the walker around, the cheeky Sister will definitely take a free ride on it, generous Donald simply looked at her, again… laughing with happiness.

With that little hair, we try to let him wear a cap whenever we are out. And he looks good with a cap, can’t wait to see him with nice hairstyles. With a blink of an eye he would turn over, sometimes stay for as long as an hour, lying down his heard when tired. The mattress always ended up like wet towel as his amazing endless saliva drips.

Chinese New Year everyone was eager to see this new kid on the block. Who wouldn’t love to carry a chubby baby like him during the happy festive? So, he was pass around non-stop. It’s nice to see him calm and happy with all the relatives and crowds and did not cry. He also gets his taste of our family’s adult tradition for the first time, Mahjong and Black Jack in Chinese New Year gatherings. This year, he and Sandra both bring us good wealth! *Grin*

So it’s Chinese New Year! Sandra gets to feel the festive greatly this year, as she will be starting to experience the pleasure of receiving Ang Baos from almost everyone she met during this period, who doesn’t like that anyway?

Of course, traditionally we will have Chinese New Year foods prepared for guests, and it’s not difficult to guess who’s our first guest to hands-on them!

She gets to have a new pair of shoes, and gosh 2-year old shoes are expensive! New clothes too, for all of us that is. Well, most of the shopping done now are both for Sandra and Donald, which is also a fantastic new festive feel too for both of us as parents. We used to be the most free during the CNY holidays but we understand now how busy it ca be once you have the kids.

However, while our entire family kids (and there are lots really!) are having fun, there’s no excuse for all parents at this time of the year not to set up Mahjongs and Black Jack games too! Hahaha…

Mischievously Funny

As the new year arrived, we’re in for more mischievous acts from our little Sandra and Donald. Yet, despite all her naughtiness we can’t help to have a good laugh over all her incredible actions.

GULP GULP GULP! HURRY finish it before Daddy and Mummy catches me!

Besides the tons of funny faces she made, she now starts to “disturb” her brother Donald more and more… well… not really disturb but kinda ermm… play with him… Like pouring her toys all over him, feed him with gummies teething toys and sometimes just running around him making Donald wonder “what on earth is this funny little girl always appear in front of me with that weird voice”. The thing is, we’re not very sure if that was playing, because whenever Donald grabbed any of her toy she would grab it back and refuse to give him… well…

Hey see my toys bro!

Anytime after an outing on our way home, she would insist on “helping” us to carry at least one of the items we bought. And she always requests the bigger or heavier ones which she had a hard time carrying them home. There’re always this funny looks from passer-by wondering if we’re torturing our daughter to carry the stuffs…

I can help! I can Help!

We have to start keeping foods away from her as whenever she have the chance, in a flash she’ll end up having them in her mouth munching! Playing water/ milk from her bottle are one of her favorite pastime now too.

We try to correct her by giving her a good scolding if she did something that’s not very safe, but she would either ran away laughing or simply do it again after that sad cry… so the whole entire family end out laughing it loud all together. XD
